| One of my favorite Jimi Hendrix posters of all time. Absolutely teriffic artwork; a mixture of Art Nouveau, Mid Evil Gothic, Deco and Psychedelic all combined into one and it works - this is what I love about psychedelic posters (I think drugs helped a bit). This is an extremely rare poster with only a few that survied and only the second I have ever ran into. Printed on extremely thin paper and obviously meant to be put on telephone poles from the shape, it is easy to understand why so few exist. Advertising one of the best bands to come out of the entire sixties, the best guitar player in the history of rock and roll music and knock-out psychedelic artwork, it is hard to find better posters than this one. |
